Shift

If this were a moment in someone’s life

It would be the instant right before a shift — when the internal world is bright and loud, and the external world is steadying it just enough to let it take shape. Emotionally, the work sits in a space of emergence. It reflects the tension between what is becoming and what already is, between heat and calm, between the internal world and the external forces that shape it. Rather than depicting a specific scene or narrative, the painting invites you into that threshold moment — the instant when something new is gathering itself, preparing to take shape.
