This painting is of a tree I see every morning on my way to work. Seeing it every morning reminds me that this tree is well-rooted, and has been standing in the same place for however many years, through different seasons, and various weather conditions. No matter what the day may bring, the tree continues to stand strong. It reminds me that my roots ( my underlying core values) are what help me stand through different seasons of life, and through whatever storms or fair weather those seasons bring. And as long as the soil continues to be good, it brings nourishment and feeds the tree through those roots, and promotes growth.
